My personal journey through emotional and physical abuse, homelessness, bullying and job loss, to now leading a business and  loving my every day, has been a whirlwind of experiences, both good and bad, that I have embraced and let shape me, bringing me to my now.

Having been bullied, gaslighted, and treated in despicable ways throughout my life and career - often by top-tier managers - I began to see patterns. I realised my own journey had much to offer as I examined the reasons behind the poor behaviour I had experienced and often allowed, the impact those decisions had on my life, my family, and those around me, and the steps I’d taken to not only survive but thrive and overcome.

It’s the very reason this business came about: to be open and free to talk about the things we often hide - imposter syndrome, self-doubt, lack of worthiness, and why we enable and accept bad behaviour, in the home but especially in the workplace.

Over the 30 years I have been in leadership roles, I have learnt by observing, spending thousands of hours researching, reading hundreds of books, and investing tens of thousands of pounds in conferences, mentors, and training. I have gathered insights from others to truly uncover why some businesses are healthy places to work, full of loyal employees who thrive and are celebrated, while others leave people feeling incompetent, stale, undervalued, and desperate to leave but without the self-worth to do so.

These toxic environments not only damage the most important asset a company has - its people - but also harm the reputation and financial success of all involved, wasting millions on high turnover, recruitment, retraining, and training.

It wasn’t just the corporate culture that fascinated me, though. It went deeper. Why do leaders feel the need to act as they do? What threatens them to feel the need to exercise ‘power’ in underhand and damaging ways? How do some people thrive no matter what environment they are in, while others fall apart? What could I learn from my own experiences that could be passed on to others, condensing my 30 years of learning for quicker results?

It's been immensely eye opening to see the impact that also carries into the home. Leaders at work are leaders in their homes too. Parenting, relationships, communication, all skills that traverse home and the workplace. Work, Life balance gets bandied around, but the truth is its all Life balance with all its elements feeding our character wherever we are.

I am determined to help Individuals, businesses and families grow in the right way, with the right foundational culture, communication, leadership, and environment, and to break the cycle of fear that binds so many, especially those at the top of their game, and prevents people from experiencing next-level success and fulfilment in their careers and their lives.

I have been more than privileged to have worked with and learnt from several world class mentors including Tony Robbins, Eileen Wilder and the Amazing John Maxwell, who I have taken to heart as my greatest grounding and influence, hence why so much of what I love to pass on, especially leadership, comes from his generous wisdom.

My greatest achievement is my family – my 3 beautiful, imperfect perfect children and my husband have benefited greatly from the hours of research and intentional learning that I’ve been privileged to do. Parenting is my hardest and most rewarding role to date, it’s not easy navigating especially in these days of enhanced social media and ever-increasing confusing beliefs and expectations, but it does have some core fundamental foundations that shape boundaries and behaviours, it’s my greatest honour to share with you and watch your home grow heathier and happy as a consequence.

We know the way we work won’t suit everyone, we also know that not everyone is coachable and certainly in business we do not want to be a tick box on the ‘doing the right thing’ list, but rather have opportunity to have an impact and move you to action. That's why we insist on talking it through with you before booking into many of our programmes or workshops, we want to assess just how successful we can be together before we take a penny of your finances.

Having said that, I hope we get a chance to talk and take a step into the future you’re capable of creating, growing and living and that it gives you a vision for a very blessed and truly prosperous Life balance.
